Ed has 25 years of experience in civil litigation and is well versed in the complexities faced by both Plaintiffs and Defendants when trying to resolve disputes. Taking a results oriented approach to negotiations, Ed uses a proactive style to help parties reach amicable resolutions. His mediation practice is focused on all types of personal injury and wrongful death claims.
We are able to host your mediation at our office or can work with you to stage a mediation at a location that may be more convenient for the parties.
Rates and Cancellation Policy
Two-party mediations are billed at $350/hour ($175/party/hour). Three or more party mediations are billed at $150/hour/party. There is a 3 hour minimum for a ½ day mediation and a 6 hour minimum for a full day mediation.
There is no travel time billed for mediations held in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, Pasco or Polk Counties (travel costs are reimbursable at the federal rate, except there are no travel costs for mediations in Hillsborough or Pinellas County). Travel time will be billed for travel outside of the foregoing Counties (at a rate of $175/hour, plus costs).
Cancellations must be made in writing at least five days before a scheduled mediation. The parties will be jointly responsible for payment of the full mediation fee for any mediation cancelled with less than five days notice.
